The Windsor Police Service conducts an evaluation of the INOVA T4 Flashlight please take time to read their findings of the Tactical T4 INOVA Flashlight.

Sir

For the last two months I have been using the above mentioned flashlight while in my patrol functions with the Emergency Services Unit.

This has been an evaluation of the light for operational use.

I have found the light source (LED) to be superior to the incandescent flashlight currently used by the police service.  The T4 is stronger ( 300 foot range ) has no dead spot at the centre, and has a two hour burn time with no fade. 

The recharge from 0 - full is 3 hours which is convenient for use during a shift if expired.  The lithium ion battery can be effectively recharged 100 times and a blue light indicates a full charge.  Additionally there is no need for bulb replacement. 

The light is durable as I did drop it several time, as mentioned there is no light bulb as in the incandescent, which will break or give off an irregular beam if dropped.
